Dried ginger powder, to be used as an aromatic and spicy spice in cooking, to flavor foods to taste (soups, meat) or to create infusions and flavored drinks. Ginger is rich in volatile oils (gingerols and shogaols), but dried ginger is spicier than fresh, as shogaols, which have a much more pungent taste, only form after drying. The resulting powder is very fine and dissolves well even when cold, thus allowing for excellent water infusions, quick and without a filter bag! Like turmeric (of which it is a close relative), it is also excellent for flavoring milk.
